The vault rises directly out of thin columns,
with no intervening capitals, thus
accentuating the continuity and delicacy of line. The oven
vault over the apse, in the same
spirit, is self-effacingly light.
The polychrome interior, as well as a portion
of the windows, were restored in the 19th century.
