Mike Murray

Mike Murray became the Athletic Admissions Coordinator and offensive coordinator for football in April 2006.
A 1984 Illinois Wesleyan graduate and former Titan football and baseball letterwinner, Murray was an IWU assistant football coach from 1987 to 1996 before becoming head football coach at the University of Dubuque (1997 to 2000) and at Benedictine University (2000 to 2001). He rejoined the IWU football staff in 2005 as an assistant coach working with linebackers and, in early 2006, Murray became assistant head coach for the fledgling Bloomington Extreme of the United Indoor Football League.
At IWU, Murray spent 10 seasons as defensive coordinator and also served as head men's and women's track coach, men's golf coach, and recruiting coordinator.
Mike and his wife, Anne (also a 1984 Illinois Wesleyan graduate), are the parents of Laura, Amanda, David and Bryan.
