Corporate & Foundation Relations

Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Corporate and Foundation Relations Office (also known as CFR or the Grants Office) is a branch of the IWU's Development Offices. CFR is responsible for seeking outside funding to support  University-wide projects and initiatives; programmatic and curricular development; and faculty research, scholarship, and teaching.

External funding may be sought to support student scholarships, faculty research, building/construction grants, the purchase of new equipment, the endowment, or other programs that are consistent with the University's priorities.

The CFR officers work in cooperation with the Provost/Dean of the Faculty, Associate Dean of the Faculty, and Associate Provost to provide support to faculty members seeking funding.

First Grants-for-Lunch Workshop of the Year

Please join us for the first of our 2007-2008 Grants-for-Lunch workshops on September 14.  We'll be discussing residential fellowship opportunities.  There are hundreds of residential fellowship available for scholars in all disciplines -- humanities, social sciences, sciences, and creative arts.  From short-term awards that support one to three months of uninterrupted work to longer-term fellowships that provide up to a year of support, from awards with residencies in the United States to those at research centers abroad--there's probably something available to suit your interests.
