Beth Cunningham, provost and dean of the faculty, is the chief academic officer of the University with responsibility for curriculum, faculty and academic support services. In addition, the provost oversees The Ames Library, Intercollegiate Athletics, Information Technology and the Registrar’s Office.

Illinois Wesleyan's distinctive curriculum that combines the liberal arts and professional programs offers 47 major areas of study. In addition, eight pre-professional programs are available in medicine, law, dentistry, engineering, veterinary science, forestry and environmental management, physical and occupational therapies.

Each year over 90 percent of Illinois Wesleyan freshmen come back for their sophomore year, and better than 9 in 10 graduating seniors complete their degree in four years. These are two student success measures in which we take great pride.
