The Gay/Straight Alliance

General Information

The Gay/Straight Alliance at IWU began in 1995, and since then its members have worked hard to make it a reliable, well-known organization on campus.

Announcements

Our next meeting will be October 6, in the Davidson Room at 8 pm. We're going to discuss plans for National Coming Out Day. Be sure to bring rainbow crayons or markers!

Upcoming Events

Saturday, October 3 - Pride Festival at ISU - ISU is hosting a Pride Festival this Saturday. There will be a vendor fair, workshops, and performances by a comedian and by Saffire, the Uppity Blues Women. Tickets are $3 for admission to the festival, and $10 for the concert. If you don't have a car, the green A bus runs from IWU to ISU at 15 till and 15 after the hour, until 6pm.
