Arles St-Trophime - Nave

The nave is covered with a barrel vault on transverse arches and supported by square pillars highlighted with pilasters which rise uninterrupted to the capitals which are the source of the vaulting. An arcade of semi-circular arches opens onto the side aisles. The grand arcade is directly surmonted by a clerestory of modest proportion; there is no triforium gallery.
