Conques - village scenes
- One enters the village by Charlemagne street,
which runs through one of the three surviving 12th century gates.
- The 16th century château d'Humières
stands out on the hillside.
- In town, an old spiral stair has been incorporated
into an outside wall but left visible; the half-timbered houses offer a
harmonious setting for the old basilica.
